Step 1. Choose A Date, Time and Place – You need to have this information ASAP! You want to be able to give your guest this information so they can clear their calendar to attend your party. Also, if you need to pick a venue other than your place to hold the party; you want to make sure you have the date and time confirmed with the venue coordinator.
Step 2. Who’s Invited To Your Party - You must determine who and how many people you would like to invite to your party. Your guest list is extremely important to configure as quickly as possible. Does your guest list have 10, 25 or 100 people on it? Is this a party exclusively for you and your best girlfriends? Or is this a party a family event?
Step 3. Don’t Forget The Invitations – Get your invitations ready and get them out to your guest immediately. If you need to get them custom made do so! Make sure you proof read the information on your invitations before handing them out to your guest. Having incorrect information on your invitations is a party killer!
Step 4. What’s On The Menu - Hot dogs, burgers, pasta salad, etc plan out your menu and get enough to satisfy your guest. Plan out your main and side dishes so that you have time to do any prep work if needed. Also, you can have your guest bring a dish for everyone to enjoy.
Step 5. Decorations Bring The Party Together – Get the balloons, centerpieces, streamers, hats and other party favors to make your party come to life. Great decorations help you bring out the theme of your party. You and your guest will have a great time!
